Description
Leading a team of power electronics engineers working on small to medium sized designs and subsystems.To oversee specification, design and testing of power electronic systems for multi-megawatt drive systems.
Our client now has a opening for a Team Leader /Section leader or Principal Engineer you will have up to 10 years experience involving design and / or manufacturing of power converters AC-DC and/or DC-AC and be educated up to degree level in electrical and electronic engineering with a passion for power electronics, you will be involved in overseeing specification, design, testing and documentation of power electronic systems.
Including electrical design, selection of components, cubicle layout/packaging, review of designs & calculations, application of engineering standards & simulation tools along with any experience on of IGBT or thyristor based drives good understanding of power semiconductor devices technology.
