Section Engineer/Senior Engineer
A well respected Civil Engineering Contractor with experience working on a mixed portfolio of projects up to £50m requires a Section Engineer. This is a long-term agreement for the delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects in the area with values between £5 and £20m particularly RC structures, Roads and enabling works. A good opportunity to work with a large Contractor ofering contunity of work in the area.
Key duties for the Section Engineer/Senior Engineer:-
-Translation, interpretation of drawings making recommendations and questioning as required.
-Monitoring, mentoring and supervising Setting-out Engineers.
-Maintaining positive working relationships with the client, designer, Resident Engineer and supply chain.
-Health and Safety, leading by example.
-Maintaining accurate records of information between the team and Designers, Res Eng and supply chain.
-Make sure accurate site diaries are kept as required.
-Prepare and monitor monthly programmes with the Section Foreman.
-Carry out material take-offs and requisitions as required by the Sub Agent.
-Training and development into Sub Agent and management roles available via internal and external training programmes.
-FULL UK driving licence required.
