An exciting opportunity for Second Line support specialist has arisen with our client in Keynsham, a world-leading supplier of communications solution
that deliver increased military capability. The purpose of the position is to provide support services for all applications and services within the LIS environment Responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd Line support services for all applications and services within the LIS team in line with Service level agreements, logging and monitoring of all calls in the LIS call logging system. Carrying out all fault replication and testing on the support rig. Creating of FAQs and supporting customer help documentation, working with third party contractors to resolve faults and building hard disk drives using the Software Loading Facility Candidates will be experienced 2nd line support engineers with a familiarity with remote desktops. A knowledge of Active directory users and domains is essential as well as a professional telephone manner and good written and communication skills. A working knowledge of ITIL processes, IFS Applications, ERP systems and Oracle databases which be highly desirable. Experience working within a Defence IPT or for a contractor delivering a defence procurement solution would be an advantage. Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment
