Description
An excellent opportunity is available for a Scheduler within the Program Management Department for this large defence company based at Harlow in Essex, South England, with opportunities at other locations in Scotland and Greater Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Provide an accurate Cost to Complete (EAC) for financial reporting.
- Schedule performance data to be provided for EVMS processing.
- Carry out independent analysis of trend data and provision of metrics for review.
- Monitor the Programme Timesheet Bookings and report consequences of late submittal/unapproved Timesheets and affect on metrics.
- Responsible for ensuring the Programme follows the Company Risk Manager Process.
- This includes support to the Programme Risk Manager, facilitation of Programme Risk Review Boards.
- Support to the Programme Manager, CAMs and Programme Accountant to establish budget authorisations.
- Monthly collation and analysis of finance data such as schedule derived Estimates to complete (ETCs).
- Development of programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS).
- Travel to other Sites (UK, Europe and USA) may be required.
Education and Experience
- Must be able to demonstrate professional knowledge of working in a Project/Programme Control environment.
- Experience of Microsoft Project 2000.
- Relevant education or work experience.
- Experience of Microsoft Project Enterprise 2003.
- Financial management and budgeting, experience of Earned Value management.
- Experience of Risk Management Process and tools. (ARM)
