Sales Support Manager/Sales & Marketing

The Sales Support Manager will need to provide correct, up to date and accurate office back up support for Account Managers in order to ensure sales process growth and margin
To manage the Sales Support Dept
To produce accurate reports as directed by the Sales Manager
To produce KPIs as directed by the Sales Manager
CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE AN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND AND UNDERSTANDING OF SHIPS SYSTEMS, SINCE THERE IS A NEED TO PRODUCE QUOTATIONS FOR ENGINE OVERHAULS; A KNOWLEDGE OF DIESEL ENGINES IS IMPORTANT COMBINED WITH AN OVERVIEW OF MARINE ELECTRICAL AND PROPULSION SYSTEMS
To manage and produce service work and project offers for Account Managers in conjunction with all categories using Support Engineers and Spares Coordinators.
Update and actively support CRM as required and requested, and ensure that accurate documentation is recorded by all department staff.
To be central contact for Account Managers day to day actions and ensure visit actions are completed efficiently and within agreed time scales
To coordinate internally and externally and to produce Service Sales related material for Account Managers
To manage the liaison between all customers (I.e. Account Managers, Superintendents, etc) to facilitate an efficient communication flow
Deputise for Account Managers, keeping contact to customers when needed
Support and search for new prospect customers and new markets together with Account Managers
Coordinate sales related issues between Account Manager and other team members
Perform other job tasks per Sales Manager instructions.

Qualifications: B.Sc Engineering / Higher Education/ Marketing or equivalent

Salary £40,000 - £48,000, Depending on Experience, including a fantastic Package and Bonus of 20% of the basic salary, Contributory Pension, Health Care, Company Car and much more
