Sales Manager
To win profitable orders in line with the Company's business plan, both Domestic (UK) and International (Export).
Knowledge of offset and indigenous industrial requirements and development of offset packages.
Ability to interact at senior level within foreign Military and Government organisations.
Planning and leadership of complex sales campaigns including understanding and influencing customer requirements.
Knowledge of military communications, including satcom, would be desirable, but not a pre-requisite.
Sales Manager
Role
To win profitable orders in line with the Company's business plan, both Domestic (UK) and International (Export).
Responsibilities
Develop and win profitable UK or overseas business by identifying opportunities, influencing Customer requirements and leading successful sales campaigns in specific territories/customer bases.
Ownership of sales process from the influencing stage through to prospect generation and bid stages through to contract signing, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (including engineering, operational and commercial functions).
Identification of offset requirements and subsequent input to offset proposals.
Coordination of sales campaigns with other divisions and overseas offices as well as UK MoD agencies and UKTI (ex-DESO).
Manage the sales process within defined Company procedures (phase review process).
Support to Divisional product development programme by identifying future market trends and product requirements.
Participation in general sales & marketing activities including trade exhibitions, conferences, equipment demonstrations etc.
Experience
Demonstrable record in wining high value UK or export business.
Ability to interact at senior level within foreign Military and Government organisation.
Planning and leadership of complex sales campaigns including understanding and influencing customer requirements.
Knowledge of offset and indigenous industrial requirements and development of offset packages.
Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary teams within the company to develop winning bids.

The nature of this position means that considerable overseas travel, for limited periods, is required.
