SALES MANAGER

30-40K + MONDEO + MOBILE + LAP TOP + PENSION + LIFE ASSURANCE

THE COMPANY

Having been acquired by a global blue chip organization, this niche manufacturer of variable message LED signs for the transport sector has the platform in place to dominate the market. Last year saw the business grow by 20% and 33% is forecast for this year. To continue this impressive performance the business needs a sales manager to help deliver on the increase in demand.

THE ROLE

As sales manager you will be covering the midlands and southern half of the UK. The bulk of the business is sold through Local Authorities and you will be given a number of accounts which have strong trading relationships with the company. You will be have the regular satisfaction of selling small orders on an ongoing basis as well as having the technical challenge of bespoking a whole system which can take up to 12 months. Having become comfortable with the market you will be then be given free reign to start looking for new business. The quality of the brand and the reputation of the business should mean success as long as you are willing to put in the ground work.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal sales manager should have;

"An mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering background or qualification
"A demonstrable track record in account development
"Able to sell a solution rather than box shift
"A desire to want to progress within 3 years
