Excellent opportunity for you to join this dynamic and fast-growing electrical engineering design consultancy. Our client specializes in the provision of comprehensive control and protection system solutions to both UK and overseas electrical power system industries.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Sales Engineer to be responsible for the growth of their customer base. Your time and responsibility will be divided between promoting sales and driving and managing new client acquisition (especially in the industrial market sector) in order to develop new project market opportunities. Product training will be provided and technical support will be available from our clients experienced project engineering team.
As Sales Engineer you will have a proven working history in the utility and/or industrial process industries, coupled with the technical understanding to be able to identify opportunities and progress a technical sales process from conception to completion. You will be a pro-active team player working to achieve both product and project sales in a challenging and rewarding market.
The companys client base ranges from electrical Utilities to Blue Chip clients, including heavy industrial users. They perform a great deal of work with major manufacturers such as Siemens Areva, ABB and Mitsubishi doing work for National grid and the NG alliances, so familiarity with National Grid and the ability to perform a lead role on projects would be a distinct advantage. In addition they carry out work with DNO companies such as EDF Energy and also Scottish Power, so experience of either of these would also be useful.

You will have the chance to travel within the UK and overseas as the company are not limited to work within the UK they currently have projects in Russia and Romania as well as an office in Serbia, and will later this year be opening an office in Canada.
