A leading engineering company are looking for a Sales Manager with experience of selling equipment into the Power industry.
We have a new vacancy for a Sales Manager in the Power Department, based in Poole. This role will necessitate approximately 50% of the time away from the office.
The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:
Identify opportunities for new product sales for the Company world-wide.
Keep regular contact with boilermakers, end users, and consultants and identify new business opportunities.
Make regular visits to the designated regions to identify new opportunities and close sales.
Liaise regularly with Agents, offices in areas to agree sales strategy/tactics.
Using published prices design and estimate quotations for customers.
Ensure a smooth handover to the Contracts Department of all orders.
Provide monthly sales forecast to the Sales Director
Be prepared to travel overseas to meet the requirements of the market.
. Plan and develop sales plans to meet sales targets set by the Sales Director.
The main qualifications and experience necessary for this role are detailed below:
Qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline.
Proven experience in selling capital equipment i.e. heat exchanger, pumps, boilers, process equipment etc.
Self motivated and able to work without direction.
Full driving licence and passport.
The salary for the role is 30k-40k+ ote, car, pension
