Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager
Our client, who delivers innovation in technology through design and manufacturing processes, has an urgent requirement for a Sales Inventory Operations Planning Manager based at Yeovil.

This position reports to the Manager of Planning & Asset Management for the Yeovil Site and will involve running sales and operational planning process. The candidate will lead the SIOP process execution and maturity across the site and includes representation at EMEA and Aero SIOP reviews.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following objectives:
•Lead the Executive SIOP process. Processes must match supply and demand across the site and must align with objectives and reporting needs of the business segments
•Develop Consistent processes and implement best practices for critical SIOP elements
•Identify, develop, and implement process improvements in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Partnership Review, and Process Discipline processes to improve site and SIOP Maturity.
•Benchmark demand forecasting, supply management, and executive SIOP across site. Integrate best practices to improve SIOP processes.
•Integrate customer demand and market characteristics / trends into the supply chain processes (planning, procurement, assembly and delivery) to optimize customer service and inventory investment.
•Coordinate with the sales organization on managing revisions to customer forecasts Oversee and ensure compliance to CSSO policy for site with respect to planning time fence (PTF).
•Builds multi-functional teams to support better Supply-Demand planning integrated with Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction as measured by OTTR.
•Drive standardization in metric definitions and measurement processes across site
•Update and Roll up Key metrics in support of Monthly Operating Reviews.
•Ensure consistency in measurement definitions, timing and intent of metrics.
•Establish tools to automate the Metric generation and reporting.
•Coordinate SIOP Maturity scoring across site and maintain / consolidate SIOP Maturity Scorecard.
•Develop a measurement system to monitor volatility in demand and supply. Design and implement process improvements to stabilize volatility.
•Support inventory strategy and drive inventory optimization through effective SIOP execution.
•Provides planning team interface on proposals and contacts to support both new proposal offerings and coordination with customers on rate readiness and improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate must have a BS degree in Business or equivalent preferred; Strong Microsoft product knowledge required to produce presentations and spread sheets; Understanding of sales and operations planning; Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial analysis and business controls; Exceptional planning and organization skills; ability to proactively prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously using six sigma and program management procedures.
