Our client is a reputable manufacturer of solid precision rivets for aerospace and allied applications. They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive to join their team in Charlton.

This is a great opportunity to develop your career as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into the role of Technical Sales Manager and specialise in either of the companys aerospace or construction fastener divisions.
As a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive you will be responsible for processing orders, dealing with customers, product costings, and ensuring the timely delivery of products. This role is mainly office based, but will require occasional client visits.
You will also get the chance to input new ideas and compliment the companys existing product range, as they expand their current market share in building nails. This is not a hard-sell environment, and though you will be involved in the commercial development of the business, previous sales experience is not essential.
To succeed as a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive you will probably come from an engineering or other technical background, and will have excellent client-facing skills.
Ideally you will also come from an aerospace or construction fasteners background, although training on the companys products will be provided, so this role will suit candidates from any technical or numerate background. Applicants from within a reasonable commuting distance of Charlton are preferred.
