An opportunity has now arisen within our 'World-Wide Distribution Business Unit', for a Sales Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of existing client accounts including both fixed and wireless. Systems sale value typically exceeds £50k but candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to manage complex technical sales in excess of £250k.
Representing a major player in an expanding market, the role calls for the ability and energy to achieve high activity levels ensuring that the maximum number of potential users are exposed to the product portfolio.
The successful candidate will:
have experience from within the Test and Measurement industry
possess a strong technical background with the ability to conduct in-depth technical discussions and product demonstrations
be able to translate technology into value propositions
have the ability to negotiate at a senior level with both engineering managers and buyers
Knowledge of a wide range of technologies, both current and future and an in-depth understanding of communications protocols is essential
