The Role
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing their territory being accountable for business development, account management and distribution management. Dealing with capital equipment will require the Sales Engineer to sell over protracted lead times on a solution led sale. The Sales Engineer will be liable for the long term growth of the territory and will set the strategy in order to achieve this. The Sales Engineer will be required to sell to a variety of different points of contact and will therefore be able to adapt their sales style.
The Person
The Sales Engineer will be from a mechanical engineering background qualified to at least HNC standard. With a high level of focus and enthusiasm this Sales Engineer will have the autonomy to work remotely and perform to high standards. The Sales Engineer will be capable of stepping into a business and become an integral part of the team and revel in a competitive but friendly environment. The company will see this Sales Engineer as a vital addition into an already successful business.
The Reward
The company will provide substantial training including four weeks at the European HQ on top of a 9 month programme to ensure the Sale Engineer is a success in this role. High performance in the Sales Engineer role could see the candidate progress into sales and general manager positions. You will be remunerated:
