A rapidly expanding engineering company in Oil Spill recovery equipment to International markets are looking for an experienced Sales Director to manager their Sales team and manage growth/long term sales strategy.
This position is ideally suited to a Sales Manager/Director, with experience of managing a team of sales people, and managing the short-long term sales strategy, budgets and forcasting. The succesful candidate will have a proven track record in the Oil & Gas with a solid background in implementing strategy across International markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of 8 sales people (4 internal and 4 external sales)
- Working alongside the Marketing manager, looking at product development to customer specification, market analysis, competitor activity, attending exhibitions
- Developing/Implementing a market/sales strategy, forecasting/costing/budget reviews
- Recruiting and reviewing sales team performance
- Meeting customer Internationally.
- Developing new and existing business
The successfull candidate:
- Proven track record in managing a sales team covering International markets in the Oil & Gas industry
- Technical background to minimum HNC level or equivalent experience
You will be results driven, dynamic and with a strong presence when negotiating with clients, motivating and driving business forward and in delivering presentations.
The salary for the role is £50k-£55k+ individual and team bonus, + car or car allowance, pension, health care
