Description
Parkhouse Professional are working with our Warrington based client a world leader in industrial automotive services to source a Safety Engineer.
The successful candidate will have a formal qualification in engineering with a proven track record in engineering of Safety Systems and related services in adherence to IEC 61508 safety regulations. Understand and have experience of coding Triconex and Modicon PLCs.
Key Accountabilities
•Lead small projects up to a defined size, larger scopes being supported by a Lead Engineer or Project Manager.
•Take technical responsibility for definition of safety work packages and managing to completion.
•Carry out detailed engineering design, configuration and test of safety systems, to include hardware, software and PLC coding.
•Support customer witness test of systems, internally and off-site.
•Provide technical support throughout the company consistent with specialised knowledge.
•Visits to customer sites, world-wide, including short-term assignments.
