Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Experience maintaining oil and gas industry electronic systems
Experience working in a Telecoms related role
Engineering qualification to HNC level in Electronics, IT or Software or equivalent
PABX Administration
Cisco Routing and Switching preferable
Offshore Survival and Medical Certificates desirable
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (SCADA)
This is for a 6 month contract possibly leading to a staff position?

Reporting to:Systems Engineer
Role: Provide technical support and implementation of maintenance and minor project work associated with SCADA, Telecomm, IT and electronic systems in general. Supervise sub-contractors to ensure safe and efficient work practices. This position is based at Bacton. Out of hours support may be required.
Responsibilities:
Provision of systems support to the onshore and offshore maintenance and operations teams.
Supervise systems sub-contractors to ensure safe and efficient work practices
Implement system maintenance and modifications
Contribute to the development and update systems maintenance procedures for MAXIMO
Ensure all software systems have software and configuration backed up and archived as appropriate
Provide proposals for system development under the change control procedure
Ensure no system or software changes are carried out outwith the change control procedure
Maximise the reliability of systems and equipment in use through effective, proactive maintenance
Fulfil an emergency response role as required by company emergency response procedures.
