Description
SMT OPERATOR - CENTRAL ESSEX - £18,300
Our clients, a subcontract electronics company and are looking to recruit a SMT Operator to work within the Surface Mount department. Applicants must be experienced in all aspects of surface mount technologies. You will work on a continental shift system to include weekends.
You will be responsible for the efficient running of SMT equipment to achieve quality and productivity targets.
You will need:
In-depth experience of SMT equipment and processes e.g. downloading and amending machine programmes
The ability to trace and correct process and equipment faults would be an asset
Good communication skills
Shift hours are a rolling shift of 4 days on, followed by 4 days off.
