Major player in the UK construction industry has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Health & Safety Adviser to work on several prestigious construction contracts UK-wide.
Although based on a project satellite office, the position will form part of the core Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental division, and will involve contributing towards company safety performance, and compare activity against legislative requirements and standards.
You will be tasked with reviewing project safety, quality and environmental plans, and carry out audits and inspections, plus achieve customer satisfaction on health, safety, quality and environmental matters. You will be able to carry out incident and accident investigations, assist in departmental meetings, and produce reports accordingly.
In order to apply for the role, you will have demonstrable knowledge of current safety and environmental legislation, and will be qualified to Grad IOSH level. You will have experience of procedure writing skills, will be highly IT literate, and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of accident investigation processes.
