This reputable global construction consultany seeks an Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor Team Leader to join their Dublin city centre office. The company have 40 offices across the globe and boast an annual turnover in 2006/2007 was in the excess of £200million whereby they handle over £4billion of construction per annum.
SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE QUANTITY SURVEYOR/TEAM LEADER-DUBLIN CITY CENTRE- WATER, RAIL, ROADS.
The Company:
This reputable global construction consultany seeks an Infrastructure Quantity Surveyor Team Leader to join their Dublin city centre office. The company have 40 offices across the globe and boast an annual turnover in 2006/2007 was in the excess of £200million whereby they handle over £4billion of construction per annum. Their four key sectors include infrastructure, industrial, property and the public sector.
They have two offices in Ireland with 30 employees to include project managers, quantity surveyors, building surveyors, commercial mangers, contract & claim advisors and risk and value managers.
Specific projects include:
Infrastructure- rail, water and highways. You will also be involved in all the procurement
of projects.
The Role:
They now require a Senior level Quantity Surveyor with infrastructure experience capable of carrying out the following duties:
• Commission Management
• Servicing existing clients whilst seeking new business opportunities
• Lead the results orientated service delivery to ensure the solution meets clients' objectives
• Support the company's plans to develop and implement a 3 year vision and strategy in Ireland.

The Person:
Experience-
• Ideal Candidate will have experience of working on water, rail and/or roads.
• Experience within the property and public sectors is an advantage
• Irish experience and a knowledge of Northern Ireland would be an advantage
• Experience of working within a CAS environment, i.e. dealing with claims and disputes in the construction industry.
Skills-
• You will have a proven track record to manage others including the ability to motivate and develop the performance of staff. The suitable candidate will manage a team of 3 people.
• Strong planning and organisation skills are essential.
Education and Qualifications
• A Quantity Surveying Degree
• A Legal qualification is very beneficial
• Chartership is a bonus.
