Description
Our client is a leading independent consultancy and technology group delivering competitive advantages through improvements in business performance and asset value to owners, operators and investors in the oil refining and petrochemical processing industries world wide. The business offers a range of services to ensure that each clients facility and business is optimised to reach its full potential. This highly effective organisation is now looking to strengthen its strategy group that provides support to M&A, pre feasibility studies, performance benchmarking and strategic and business planning. The main purpose of the role will be to provide higher level advice justified by appropriate analysis and reports. Depending upon the nature of the support, the advice to client is likely to vary but may include EBITDA cash flows, acquisition strengths and weakness evaluation, risk return analysis and decision modelling and so on. The job holders role will, of course, extend beyond technical deliverables and include developing leads for project sales, supporting the sales process, drafting and presenting proposals, etc. Candidates should have substantial experience of the refining process both from a strategic/macroeconomic and practical operational perspective.
