PRINCIPLE MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Our client is one of the worlds leading providers of professional, technology based consultancy and support. With an order book that boasts some of the most innovative and ambitious projects the UK and indeed the world have ever seen. Currently they are offering an excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer who wants to step up to Principle Mechanical Design Engineer and has the ability to become Associate Mechanical Design Engineer.
The opportunity is based in Bahrain. As the Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer you will be involved within multiple projects and mentoring junior members of the team across a range of sectors including educational, healthcare, commercial and transportation. Due to the success of our multidisciplinary consultancy environment, as the Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer you will work with our Associate Engineer to further shape our business in the North West cluster.
The role of the Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer is not only to satisfy the needs of our current client base, but to be pivotal in further enhancing our established reputation. A full job detailed job spec is available upon request but briefly this role will encompass some of the following:
- To be actively involved in the recruitment and mentorship of graduate and Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineers.
- Have the ability to run a mixture of multi-framework and new build commissions, through managing your own workload and achieving business targets.
- Actively involved in the design calculations, specifications, and developing building services drawings.
Currently our client is involved with a variety of interesting projects including planning and designing new schools across the UK, including remodelling works and extensions to new-build developments on over 800 capital projects. There are prestigious regeneration projects, delivering sustainable urban solutions throughout the world, including public-realm schemes for major metropolitan spaces, area regeneration frameworks and neighbourhood renewal. They are actively involved within the leisure industry, with projects ranging from resort hotels and them parks to major stadium projects. Other projects include healthcare, Airports, Environmental initiatives and Defence.
If you are qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Can demonstrable experience in client liaison, development and presentation. Have excellent report writing skills, with good overall MS Office experience. Your CV includes previous experience of mentoring junior engineers and have had exposure to a range of Mechanical Building Services project ideally covering both the private and public sectors.
