ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER / SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER / SENIOR BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN ENGINEER
Our client is a growing national M&E design consultancy currently require a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their West London office.
The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive professional technical service encompassing feasibility studies, designing, specification, project management commissioning and final account to meet all requirements of the client and the aspirations of the practice. You can to some extent determine your role within the practise relating it your experience within certain sectors allowing you to determine the direction you want your career to develop in.
The successful candidate will be totally responsible for some jobs, obtaining assistance from colleagues, managers and subordinate staff who provides a technical service to meet the jobs needs, e.g. a lead electrical will obtain mechanical skills from others within the Practice. This means in turn you will be providing technical services to others, e.g. electrical services to a mechanical colleague.
The ideal candidate will be Chartered or actively pursuing becoming so, with either three years post degree experience or 7 years post HNC experience. You should also have a wide breadth of experience within the Consultancy field with detailed design of electrical building services a must. You should also ideally have knowledge of job costing techniques and ISO9001.
Projects will be mainly within the Education (multi million pound refurbs and new builds), Commercial (multi million pound retail and infrastructure works), Residential (a £150M residential PFI project), and Industrial sectors.
In return this excellent client will offer you a salary between £40K and £45K with a benefits bonus and pension included.
