We are looking for an individual with significant skills in using SAP to join an engineering company as a SAP Superuser. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right candidate with a good benefits package accompanying the position.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will sit within our clients SAP Development & Support Team.
Play a proactive & leading role in all ongoing system developments & process improvements relating to the clients SAP platform within the broad areas of Procurement & Accounts Payable
Participate with all other SAP functional super users to actively improve available functionality & business processes for the company globally
Actively support & participate as lead Proc/AP team member in all SAP Team development projects
Provide necessary support to global business end users covering all existing interfaces to & from SAP in the procurement & accounts payable areas , eg TMMaster , Hires Database
Support & provide procurement & AP training materials to all Regional SAP Process Experts ( "PENs" )
Analyse , interpret, understand & then co-ordinate break fix solutions within procurement & FI-AP modules of SAP in conjunction with Capgemini level 1 support team
Test all config changes made to SAP system within procurement & AP areas
Participate & lead as necessary regional training workshops for procurement & AP teams
Validate / approve ongoing maintenance of all buyers on SAP system
Skills
Very strong knowledge of SAP business processes. Competent on Microsoft excel / word & powerpoint
Experience
General:
Relevant previous experience within Oil & Gas would be beneficial. Works well under pressure
Technical:
Thorough knowledge of procurement & ap processes within O&G industry.
Self Managerial:
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
Location Mobility:
Will be required to travel occasionally between bases and overseas
