Rolling Stock Project Manager

Salary : £35k - £45k dependant on experience

Location : Northampton

A market leading manufacturer of trains is looking for a talented Project Manager to lead a project team in the completion of a range of rolling stock maintenance projects.

Role Description.
A challenging, multi-disciplined role, working on a number of repair projects. The projects will be within the Transportation Division working on the repair of Traction and Rolling Stock. You will be responsible for overseeing all quality issues within the project and will tightly manage the budget ensuring targets are met. Work completed must meet client specifications and technical requirements within specific timescales.
You will also be required to identify opportunities for improvement within current processes to ensure high standards are maintained.

Required Experience
You will have significant experience in Project Management within a transportation environment. Rolling Stock experience is preferred but not essential, but experience in fleet maintenance, service, modification and or overhaul is required. This could be from an automotive, production, manufacturing, aerospace or naval background.
