We are seeking creative research skills in Image and video signal coding, analysis, content management or processing directed towards both professional and consumer product applications.
You must also have excellent mathematical applications capabilities, including manipulation of statistical signals and experience of writing system software using C/C++ and/or utilising system simulation software, Matlab, or similar.
You must have experience in MPEG visual description and/or coding standards and network transmission issues, would be a significant advantage.
If you are highly innovative and interested in an exciting career creating new technologies, this may be the opportunity for you. You need a Ph.D. and/or good honours degree, preferably in Electronics or Physics (or accepted equivalent) and a strong desire to respond to the R&D challenge. Good communication skills, high integrity and the ability to work in small teams with a global outlook are essential.
