Offering a specialist Repair and Calibration service across a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment from low frequency instruments including Digital Multimeters, Frequency Counters and Oscilloscopes through to high frequency Signal Generators, Power Meters and Spectrum Analysers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Through expansion they are now looking to appoint a Repair and Calibration Engineer with a strong technical discipline in the field of testing, calibrating and repairing a wide range of electronic instrumentation. It is likely that the Repair and Calibration Engineer will be qualified to HNC Electronics level and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a commercial calibration laboratory. Applicants should be familiar with Fault finding and repairing SMT and conventional boards to component level.
The Repair and Calibration must be capable of work to established calibration methods, procedures, and to manufacturer's specifications and will be familiar with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
The Repair and Calibration Engineer will need good people skills and be able to explain detailed technical information to calibration engineers and our customers. You may also be asked to visit customer premises and carry out on site calibration as some UK/France travel maybe required
