Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client who is a global competitor in the Aerospace Industry. They are looking to emply a Reliability and Maintainance Engineer. As a Reliability and Maintainance Engineer you will have a firm understanding, backed by work experience in the following:
1. The application of Supportability Engineering and its aims in reducing the cost of ownership in a military environment.
2. The principles of ILS and the use of tailoring to fit the requirements of a specific project.
3. Working with the customer to identify equipment failure information.
. Providing feedback to highlight and resolve reliability issues, including the generation of appropriate reliability reports.
5. Experience with trials and/or failure reporting systems (FRACAS).
Experience or knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous:
1. The function and operation of the LCM process in relation to support activities.
2. Defence Acquisition and In-Service Support.
3. A working knowledge of military organisations (particularly the British Army) and their operating procedures .
4. Experience with performing FMEA/FMECA, FTA, RCM, Safety Analysis and Testability Analysis.
The candidate will have a background in one or more of the following:
1. Military vehicles.
2. REME or RLC operations.
3. Working in a Support environment.
4. Defence industry engineering.
IT:
1. Competent in the operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project.
2. Desirable to have experience of Microsoft, Access and Visio.
