Description
This is a challenging role in an extremely busy department. You must have previous experience of technical recruitment and be highly organised. You must be able to work under pressure, have plenty of initiative and be able to assign priorities without supervision.
Recruitment Officer
To be responsible for recruiting a wide range of technical and support staff.
The companys growth plans over the next 5 years are ambitious and anticipate a continuous recruitment cycle. There are currently about 30 vacancies for engineers across a wide range of disciplines.
Specific responsibilities
To liaise with line managers and produce detailed job specifications for each vacancy
To advertise vacancies in the appropriate way. This will mostly involve websites, but could include written advertisements in journals, national press etc
To liaise closely with a wide range of recruitment agencies
To run recruitment open days and attend career fairs when appropriate
To shortlist all applications and forward to line managers for final selection to interview
To share the HR interviews with the HR & Training Officer and the HR Director
To run pre-briefs and de-briefs with the interview teams to ensure efficient use of interview time and to collate comments and views
To ensure decisions on every applicant are followed through
To make job offers and prepare contracts of employment
Minimum requirements

Level A/B qualification in psychometric testing would be an advantage
