Following appointment to the government's Catalist framework TAC TPS Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an experienced contract recruiter to fill a pivotal role in this important fast growing team. They are looking to find a consultant to help maximise this opportunity by filling high value IT and Project Management requirements and managing high profile government clients. In addition the successful candidate will participate in, client service activities to understand fully the aims and objectives of the clients to fulfil their requirements

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Through a variety of sources to find the right candidates for high profile government contract positions
•Conduct activities to advance positive relationships and aid retention of clients and candidates
•Initiate contacts and meetings to solicit referrals and sales leads
•Account manage key government clients and responding to formal tenders
•Pro-active candidate marketing
•Manage contractor book working on-site at large government departments.
•Help to follow up leads and win new frameworks and clients for TAC TPS.
•Conduct face-to-face / telephone interviews of candidates
•Manage and control candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle
•Complete reference checks on potential candidates to ensure a high calibre of service for clients
•Reformat candidates CV to conform to company/client standards
•Ensure systems are properly maintained and adhere to Company Standards
•Perform other duties as required by the needs of the business

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential
•Demonstrate experience of successfully placing contractors/temporary staff
•Demonstrate experience of managing and growing accounts
•Good knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle
•Experience working within a specialist market sector (preferably but not necessarily IT or Government)
•Highly self motivated and possess excellent time-management
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Able to work under minimum supervision

Desirable
•Knowledge, experience, or an understanding of IT & Project Management recruitment in the public sector
•Recruitment and Employment Confederation or other industry relevant professional qualification (support for REC qualification will be given where necessary)
