This company is a respected specialist decommissioning and remediation contracting business which provides core technical and engineering expertise to nuclear customers worldwide in dealing with the global nuclear legacy. They are dedicated to providing fit for purpose waste and decommissioning solutions and allied products and services. This customer facing enterprise now has an excellent opportunity for Radiation Shielding Analysts.
As a Radiation Shielding Analyst, you will have a degree in Chemistry, Maths, Material Science or Engineering or equivalent and have knowledge of physics of ionising radiation. You will have experience of shielding design/analysis and experience in shielding calculations and radiation protection. Knowledge of the nuclear industry and experience of working in consulting or contracting organisations would be advantageous. You must be computer literate with excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as team player.
