Exciting opportunities for Radia Integrators have arisen with our client in Reading, a world leading defence IT consultancy working on the large scale DII project. The successful candidates will be required to be security cleared to SC level (prior to appointment).
The DII will consolidate numerous existing information networks into a single next generation infrastructure and will link 340,000 users in approximately 2000 locations. The role of the integrator is to apply and verify the installation of proposed changes to the DII. Responsibilities include reviewing the inputs and assessing the technical impact of installation changes, working with designers to ensure components install correctly and that the system is not affected by the changes and storing the outputs in the Configuration Management system.
Candidates will have experience using Radia with a working knowledge of Microsoft 2003 server components (AD, group policies, etc). Strong integration, verification and configuration skills are also essential. MoD/Secure systems experience and knowledge of Borland StarTeam (or similar config management system) would be desirable.
