Axis NT is a recently formed & rapidly growing telecoms infrastructure technology company with Headquarters in Aylesbury, satellite offices in Bristol & Harrogate, and manufacturing partners in Germany & Taiwan.
Formed in 2005, the Company specialises in the design, supply & support of software-controlled digital radio and RF Subsystems that are reconfigurable for the future strategy broadband networks currently in development by the global telecoms community.
However its current dramatic business success is being driven by the Systems ability to provide efficient, powerful & highly economic network infrastructure solutions for the WiMAX platform, currently in international implementation . Solutions that can provide seamless, wire-free broadband access for an entire city with only a handful of superhotspots, or high quality national coverage for countries without an established cable infrastructure.
This has enabled sales levels to approach £10M within only 3 years of formation, and known pipeline projections point to a £50M annual turnover within another 2-3 years. Delivering this growth, however, will rely on the Company attracting people now of the highest quality at all levels, people capable of playing a part in shaping a successful, dynamic, flexible, innovative and highly integrated business in an environment of genuinely fast growth and expansion.
A key role in the business development plan is created by the requirement for a larger prototype Test resource, capable of concurrently developing and proving several products in parallel for multiple customers, as well as test systems that are robust enough to transfer into a volume production environment.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Test professional, together with the following
Experience of RF testing in a product development, laboratory environment.
Good knowledge of Signal Analysers and Generators, Network Analysers & Power Meters
Practical Lab skills, eg PCB Assembly & Soldering
Flexible, committed & operates well in a team environment
Technically confident, and able to communicate ideas with senior design engineers
