Experience in working on Telecoms and RF product developments
Has designed products for off shore manufacturing with a good understanding of modern manufacturing techniques (eg surface mount)
Experience of the design and development of complex electro-mechanicla RF filter and filtering products.
Experience must include: Amplifiers Discreet phase shifters Attenuation Gain Noise and IP3
This Engineer responsible for the design and development of electronic solutions that will be integrated into complex RF Cavity Filter housings for use in the cellular market. The activities shall be conducted in accordance with specifications and agreed time scales.
Such design work requires a substantial amount of skill and innovation to produce market-leading products in terms of technical performance and low cost.
This role will require the candidate to have experience of:
Schematic design
PCB layout
Bills of Materials
Strong skills for de-bugging RF designs
The products will be produced in medium volume, and the engineer must:
Understand DFM techniques
Have working experience of Surface Mount manufacturing
Have working experience of production testing techniques
ATE
ICT
This role will require UK and international travel.
An RF Engineer will have a good first degree or postgraduate qualification backed with proven experience of complex RF electronics design
