Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced chemical engineer, with a good working knowledge of refinery processes and an interest in feasibility work to join a major refinery consultancy group to manage refinery planning studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing LP based studies and will lead a small team in developing and implementing refinery LP models, economic evaluations, producing written reports, making presentations, and meeting project technical deliverables on budget on cost and profit. The job holder will be expected to capitalise on the growing market for refinery planning studies generated by changing fuel specifications to reduce fuel oil productions and understanding of product specification, blending, crude characterisation and logistics would be welcome.
