Description
Our client is a global company whose business is the exploration, production, refining and distribution of energy. The business operates in more than 100 countries and employs over 100,000 staff. The organisations refinery, technology, safety and operations group provides technical expertise and support to refineries world wide. The group focuses on new technology development and implementation, project engineering and commercial support to grow and sustain the business long term and provides the front line day to day operational and safety support to ensure safe and reliable availability of plant. The company is currently looking for a number of specialists to support aspects of this group function. All appointees will report into project teams and operational business managers. Specialists are now sought in the following areas:
* Advanced Control & Instrumentation* Reforming
* Maintenance Practises/RAM*Treatments
* Flares and Relief Systems* Coking
* Refinery Technical Generalists* Energy
* Hydroprocessing
All successful candidates will be expected to provide technical leadership in their specialist areas to company interested parties, to set the technology strategy for specialist areas, identify new technological developments and encourage adoption where applicable, ensure that the company has full access to third party expertise and work with the business operations manager on trouble shooting and optimisation.
