R&D engineer - Battery Integration
Our client is a leading force in the design and development in Electric Vehicles based in Norway this highly innovative and forward thinking company has plans for aggressive company growth.
Position description:
- Battery HW/SW specification, review, test, validation and design
- Safety engineering following relevant directives
- Supplier communication and technical management
- Cross functional coordination
- Component ownership
Qualifications:
- University degree at B.Sc/M.Sc/Ph.D level within the area of electrical engineering, power or control engineering.
- Battery systems or Power Supply design
- Competence in electrical drive systems (motor drives, motor control, preferably vehicles)
- Understanding of safety engineering concepts, single fault tolerance, FMEA, CE-marking
- Ability to write software and hardware specifications
- Understanding of test and validation requirements
- Thermal management and heat transfer
- Strong analytic problem solving skills
- Automotive or industrial experience
