R&D EMC Electronics Technician
Engineering Technician required to work in a busy electronics development department.
Candidates must be qualified to HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline, experienced in the field of electronics, self-motivated and flexible in their work. You should have a good understanding of circuit schematics and general circuit operation, with an appreciation of EMC testing and its requirements. Must be able to work unsupervised and have good communication skills.
Primary Duties include:
To test products for EMC compliance to industry standards.
Testing of products for environmental compliance.
Compiling and archiving of reports for engineering staff and customers.
Organise scheduled calibration of equipment.
Develop and maintain company library of standards.
Assist the Engineering Support Group with product testing and investigations.
