Quantity Surveyor / Building Surveyor
Isleworth, Middlesex

Our client is London's premier specialist in basement excavation and conversion. Offering a full and comprehensive design and build service, they help customers with all their basement needs. They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Building Surveyor to join their team.
As a key member of the Structural team, the Quantity Surveyor / Building Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring projects are monitored and accurately valued at the correct times.
Your role will involve:
- Entering mid month and end month valuations onto job spreadsheets
- Ensuring feedback from Site or Structural Managers is dealt with quickly
- Gaining an understanding of the sequencing of works to ensure efficiency
- Building relationships with key suppliers or subcontractors to maximise service / cost effectiveness
To succeed as the Quantity Surveyor / Building Surveyor you must have experience within quantity/building surveying, and you must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor, or have at least an ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in building surveying.
You will also need an understanding of the following:
- Provisional sums
- Contingency sums
- Contract sums
- Specifications
- Contract periods
