Our client are looking to recruit an Employers Agent Quantity Surveyor for the Nottingham office in the Housing team. The candidate will provide technical advice, cost advice and cost management, with an emphasis on value engineering, whole life costing and output specification preparation.

Our client are looking to recruit an Employers Agent Quantity Surveyor for the Nottingham office in the Housing team. The candidate will provide technical advice, cost advice and cost management, with an emphasis on value engineering, whole life costing and output specification preparation.You should be seeking a long term career move and ultimately looking to develop your talents for you to rapidly progress to the next level or the position would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to add value to the current team.
You will be asked to
Work within a Team and will provide a range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion.
Have a sound working knowledge of sustainability issues, life cycle costing and risk and value management.
Either lead a Team or assist in its management.
You will already have
A BSc in Quantity Surveying and/or is a member for the RICS or equivalent.
A willingness to continue to develop your career through their structured training programme.
Great interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate effectively (both internally and with Clients), and a willingness and determination to progress your career quickly.
Experience of working on Health, Education or other Public Sector projects such as Care Homes, Community developments or Social Housing.
