Our client is a specialist subcontractor to the construction industry specialising in demolition. From their Manchester base they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The company undertake contracts across the North of England for a wide range of clients. Turnover is growing every year for this family run business with projects ranging from £20K through to £1million plus.
The position will require you to be a self starter who can effectively manage their own day to day workload. You must be computer literate and have experience of all H&S systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
•Enabling the smooth running of contracts,
•Prepare tender documentation,
•Prepare valuations,
•Subcontractor control,
•Ensuring compliance with regulations,
•Local authority contact,
•Budget control, and
•Risk assessments and method statements.
