Excellent opportunity for a quality, health & safety and environmental officer
My client, a supplier of electrical and gas metering systems, have an opening for a highly motivated Quality, Environmental and H&S Officer at NEBOSH level to continue to improve PRI quality of product, process and service / maintain ISO 9001 approval and Health & Safety processes. The officer would be expected to be competent in areas such as CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) ISO14001, return, refurb & disposal of product etc, as our Clients tend to look for sample Environmental documentation as well, such as CoSHH document, Waste handling license, RA's for handling hazardous wastes.
Scope and objectives:
1) Improving quality of product, process and service to improve overall customer satisfaction and day-to-day maintenance of Quality, Environmental, Information Security.
2) Maintaining ISO 9001 approval and Health & Safety and day-to-day maintenance of Health & Safety processes.
3) Managing the QuEnSH aspects of our Supply Chain.
4) Meter approvals administration
Key tasks:
1) Management of ISO accreditation (QMR representative) inc:
2) Conducting quality management review (QMR)
3) Managing internal & external audit programme including NCR mgt
4) Procedural maintenance and development of new systems
5) Providing quality assurance help/advice to the company
6) To manage and facilitate various system and process improvements throughout the organisation
7) Receiving the goods inward analysis sheets and calculating vendor rating performance
8) To process and administer all of customer repairs ( RAN's), IR's and STOP NOTES, liaising with customers when necessary
9) Processing of Document Change Requests (DCR's), using. Running of DCR database
10) Control Documentation issue/update of Quality Procedures and Quality Forms
11) Assisting in the development and modification of Quality, Environmental and Information Security Procedures and Processes
12) Supplier Assessment, and records
13) Contract reviews, issues & records
14) Receiving the goods inward analysis sheets and calculating vendor rating performance
15) Coordinating the production of the Quality Balanced Scorecard Administration of Internal Audits, Audit and Non-Conformance Reports
16) Approval of vendors and sub-contractors Maintenance of PRI's Health & Safety Manual
17) Management of Health & Safety Committee
18) Ensure all Company meter approval applications, test certificates, reports and records and SIL procedures and records are filed and copies available.
