Manufacturing Quality Team Leader required for Company in Farnborough.
The purpose of the role is to lead the Quality Control and Inspection Department of the Manufacturing Until and oversee the inspection of company products produced at the facility.
You will be responsible for:
-Implementing and maintaining customer quality procedures such as AS9100 & Nadcap.
-Liaison with inspection and quality personnel where necessary, in particular for non conforming products.
-Assist in planning and testing requirements for the resources within the Inspection and Laboratory departments.
-Maintaining quality documentation.
-Promote quality awareness.
-Lead investigations into preventative measures, to identify recurring quality failures and to ensure the appropriate corrective action is taken.
-General leadership of other members of staff with regards to Quality awareness.
Candidates need to hold relevant qualifications ideally in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering or equivalent and have held a similar within Quality Engineering in a Manufacturing environment. Candidates also need to have worked with composites.
