Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to take responsibility for inspecting and managing the quality of work associated with a large Civil Engineering scheme. The project involves major civil's including innovative foundations and piling, reinforced concrete structures, and building works. The project is well suited to candidates with experience of working on large projects with large teams.
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to take responsibility for inspecting and managing the quality of work associated with a large Civil Engineering scheme. The project involves major civil's including innovative foundations and piling, reinforced concrete structures, and building works. The project is well suited to candidates with experience of working on large projects with large teams.
Key responsibilities/requirements for the Quality Manager include:-
-Monitor the implementation of the project Quality Management and Environmental Management systems.
-Quality inspection of the completed works and collation of records.
-Ensure appropriate documentation for the control and calibration of measuring and test equipment.
-Review of material suppliers and subcontractors in line with quality documents.
-Administration of non-conformity and reporting to the Project Manager and the head of Quality Management.
-Monitoring the environmental aspects on site, liaising with the EA and local authorities as may be required.
-Ability to communicate effectively with site and operations teams.
-Ability to work unsupervised.
-Internal Auditor trained.
