Description

Quality Inspector required for specialist manufacturer of airfoils and associated intricate segments for the high-temperature turbine section of commercial jet engines, military jet engines, and power generation equipment. You will be required to perform a variety of routine tasks in conjunction with a number of other Quality Inspectors. This will include document creation, processing scrap and re-batching of parts. 6 month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities:

•Creation of customer release documentation.
•Creation of customer non-conformance documentation.
•Dealing with customer complaints and returned product.
•Processing of scrap components.
•Re-batching of parts to salvage sequences.
•Archival storage of Quality records.

Personal specification:

Essential:

•Experience of Microsoft Office software is advantageous.
•Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
•The individual must be capable of working without close supervision but also within a team environment. A willingness to accept change is also required.
•This is a day shift contract, however applicants should be willing to work shifts in the rare event that it would be required.
