Working in a warehouse on a 2 shift pattern, likely to be weekly rotations on days and nights. The night shift includes a 33% shift premium.The main purpose of the role is to inspect components, , raising of non conformance reports/production permits and concessions, as well as liaising with customers on non conformances. Candidates must be time-served in a machining/engineering discipline with 4 years experience in a similar role, have the ability to interpret drawings and have a knowledge of documentation control and procedures. Must be currently approved by employer to undertake a similar certification privilege under their own provisions / major customers for a minimum of 2 years. Must be currently employed within their suppliers own quality or inspection department. Able to confirm incoming parts conform to paperwork and customer specifications. Responsible for in-house visual inspection, to check for damage, corrosion etc. Able to raise paperwork and confirm part matches, signing of release documents.
