Our prestigious client is a leading manufacture of accelerated cooking equipment with exceptional sustained growth over the last five years.
There has become available an exciting opportunity in their Quality department for a forward thinking and pro active Quality/Improvement Engineer with a desire to drive the department forward.
Being from a manufacturing background, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of the following manufacturing techniques and processes
Metal Fabrication
Metal pressing
Die-casting
Extruding (metal & plastic)
Machining
PCB & electronic component manufacture
The successful candidate will have the Ability to understand the following QMS approaches & elements
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Dimensioning & Tolerancing
Defect Part Per Million (DPPM) measurement of Quality at the various stages of part and product manufacture
Engineering Change Control & Concession Processes
Control plans
6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen
