Description
Our client requires two quality engineers, rate is cira 27 on a limited company basis. Our client is a leading design and manufacturing company for avionic equipment and has comprehensive in-house facilities that cater for research, design, development, precision manufacture, qualification test and certification of electronic and electro-mechanical systems for the aerospace industry. Principal products are cabin lighting, power conversion and electro-mechanical controls.

Due to expansion they now require two quality engineers:
No. 1 - Experienced electro-mechanical Quality Engineer with aerospace experience.
No. 2 - Experienced electrical/electronics Quality Engineer with aerospace exp.
Qualities / experience required :
Proactive, with good communication skills (written & verbal) at all levels (internal, customers, suppliers).
AS/EN 9100 (ISO 9001: 2000 minimum), including AS/EN 9102.
EASA Part 21 Subpart G useful.
Continuous Improvement, SPC & Metrics.
Internal auditing of Quality Management System (process & compliance).
Supplier approval & surveillance (including auditing).
Risk Analysis.
Root Cause Analysis (working knowledge of tools used), corrective & preventive actions (including report preparation) - parts, sub-assemblies & finished products.
Calibration.
Generation of project-related documentation e.g. Quality Plans & Product Acceptance.
Test procedures.
Knowledge of GRESS useful.
