Wind Tunnel Assistant - Q/A - Middlesex
Role : To undertake wind tunnel support duties, model QA & manage model & equipment databases.
Job Description : The work involves day to day support of the wind tunnel activities to include model and equipment preparation, installation and de-rig. QA responsibilities will be held ensuring that models and instrumentation are built and installed to required & detailed tolerances. Management of our onsite and offsite model storage will be required along with a certain level of record keeping and statistical reporting.
Requirements : Reporting to the Quality Manager, the candidate will have prior experience of QA work, will be physically capable of moving around large items of equipment (with assistance) and will be computer literate - it is expected that the candidate will have a HND / Graduate level qualification, preferably in a mechanical/aeronautical subject.
Salary : Negotiable based on experience & qualifications.
