Description
Quality Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer
Excellent opportunity to join this sub-contract Electronics manufacturer who have a vacancy within the Quality department for a Manufacturing/Process Quality Engineer whose main duties will include: Developing and maintaining Statistical Monitoring Techniques in the manufacturing environment; Providing monthly management reports, Statistical analysis of production failures; Providing technical assistance to Quality and Production personnel; Providing Engineering NPI and DFM reports; Providing feedback and assistance to production to reduce failure rate; Monitoring manufacturing processes and introduce improvements; Liaising with the customer/s on quality and process issues.
The role will be based in Northants and is commutable from Banbury, Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Daventry.
Likely to be educated to HNC level or above you will have previous experience in a quality orientated function. You will possess a sound working knowledge of ISO9001:2000 Quality systems and posses proven experience in SPC methods. You will also have a proven knowledge of Electronics manufacturing. An excellent communicator you will have the ability to motivate and work in a team environment.
