An excellent opportunity for Quality Engineers to join this world-class supplier of innovative, high performance actuation systems and equipment for the aerospace and defence industry.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational deployment of QMS + product integrity, including airworthiness. In particular, you will be responsible for the prompt identification and pre-empting of problems within an IPT structure. You will play an authoritative and supporting role for the deployment of Quality within a fast moving and dynamic product development team.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or have an ONC along with relevant experience in Q A or you substantial experience in aerospace-based QA. Auditing experience and training to AS 9100 or equivalent would be desirable. Also desirable would be some knowledge of CAA and EASA regs and product design/development processes and controls. A metrology background would be an advantage. Experience of the application of the 7 new tools of Quality would also be advantageous. Familiarity with the application of SPC and sufficient computer literacy to sustain the company databases would be desirable.
